Vacancy: General Manager

The Grenada Co-operative League Limited (GCLL) is seeking to employ a General
Manager to lead the organization into the future.

The Organization:

The Grenada Cooperative League Limited is established by law as the Apex Body for
cooperatives in Grenada.

The League provides advocacy, representation, compliance, insurance, marketing and a
range of business support services for its affiliates which are credit unions and non-
financial cooperatives.

The Role:

The General Manager is responsible for leading and executing the strategic direction,
development and progress of the League, while ensuring its financial stability and
responsiveness to the needs of its affiliates.

The successful candidate has responsibility for the day-to-day management of the GCLL’s
operations, compliance, performance, relationship-building and shall be accountable to
the Board of Directors for the execution of these functions.

The position requires strategic leadership and a good understanding of the cooperative
philosophy, operations, policies, regulations and best practice.

Candidate Profile:

∙At least a first degree in Business Administration or other Social Science.
∙At least five (5) years of experience in a senior management position within a
financial institution or services organization.
∙Effective written and oral communication skills, and adaptability in
communicating with a broad range of audiences.
∙Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
